Back in the days I saw Nathan’s work for the first time in a book from friendsofed.
The theme was called Geometry and Chaos, and it was a book where 4 desingers described how they use 3d applications to create images before processing them with photoshop. 4 Amazing tutorials.

He’s put together a long page from with work from past to present.

If your into videogames then street fighter is nothing new to you. Capcom is releasing a new one in more then a year and Ken and Ryu are still battling it out. The trailer is a mix of very nice 3d, kicks, sweeps, hadou and shoryukens all covered in an aquarel based ink.

A List Apart Magazine explores the design, development, and meaning of web content, with a special focus on web standards and best practices…. but I guess you knew that allready? New are their T-shirts (for me allthough). I’ve got to buy the first two! For real, sooooo cool :)

Nice interview with Khalid Al-Muharraqi of Muharraqi-studios. He and his partner Rashad Faraj run their small CG studio all the way from Bahrain. They just make amazing CG-art, and motion :)

The These Days design cartel amazed me with their latest post. Apparently there is a fourth Sony Bravia commercial. Check it out now! It’s -again- magnificent. Official Sony Bravia site here.

For me the Mill is the best company in motion design at the moment. Based in London, New York and Los Angeles they’ve made their way to the top. The history reel shows how many projects they have had in the past and gives a true vision of what they are capable of. The history reel is really long, so if you don’t have the time or don’t give a damn about their history - check out their TV & Film reel 2007. Pretty marvelous too!

Belgian internet- and digital-tv provider Telenet has released a new commercial which is stunning. I’m not sure if it’s made fully digital or just recorded with a highspeed-camera, but you better check it out anyway: http://beeldkwaliteit.telenet.be. On a second thought… there is a fly in it and looks to cool be real, so probably 3D :)

I saw this new smirnoff commercial on tv last week, and I was blown away. Super 3d!
I had to find out who made it. After some searching I found out it was done by Paranoid US and JWT
